Lacamas Creek Trail 10am - 1pm

The start of our hike will take us along Lacamas Creek lined with maples and alders. Douglas-firs predominate as we hike farther up Lacamas Creek.

  • Soon we will hear Lower Falls, a splashing slide falls with less exposed rock during rain season. We will share beautiful waterfall views, well-maintained trails, and scenic landscapes.

  • We will stop to admire Pothole Falls before rounding our way back to Lower Falls where we will dance our Nia Somatic movement in an opening by the bridge.

  • Our lollipop loop hike is about 3.2 miles total, and is considered moderate, while much of it is easy, there will be some hills and rocky paths, with 244 feet of up-hill elevation.
