Nia is a mind-body-spirit fitness practice that combines dance, martial arts and mindfulness to improve your health and well-being. Nia is based on the idea that exercise should feel good and is suitable for people of all ages, sizes, shapes, abilities and fitness levels. Nia classes feature music from a variety of genres to stimulate the body, brain and spirit. Core Moves: Includes the pelvis, chest, head and spine. Upper Extremities: Moves and techniques of the arms, hands and fingers. Base Moves: Focuses on the feet, ankles, knees, legs and hip joints.
